The POSH training course is designed to educate employees on creating and maintaining a respectful and inclusive workplace, free from sexual harassment. It covers the definition of sexual harassment and its two primary forms—quid pro quo, where workplace benefits are contingent on sexual favors, and hostile work environment, characterized by behavior that creates discomfort or intimidation. The course provides clear examples of inappropriate behaviors, such as unwelcome advances, offensive comments, or sharing explicit material, while emphasizing the importance of a safe and respectful work environment. It highlights the legal framework, particularly The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013, outlining the rights and responsibilities of employees and organizations. Employees are introduced to reporting mechanisms and the role of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in addressing and resolving complaints with confidentiality and fairness. The session concludes by inspiring individuals to contribute to a positive culture, reinforcing respect, collaboration, and productivity across all levels.
